April 23 - Rain
Write a poem about rain. You can use any form you like. Mrs. F.
Prologue Suddenly Bombs fly Wind Girl screams her howling moan A fire starts Cloud Boy swishes into a run Lightning Woman strikes back With powerful white zaps across the sky
Rain man wants it to end For everything to be peaceful He runs over to a fire They had only just been created How could the other Groups of gods turn bad so soon This is the beginning of war The never ending battle
Rain, rain go away Collin slumped next to his window Why did rain have to start now I want to go out and play He thought Time for dinner Nanny Beatrice called
Where does rain come from Collin asked The heavens Was the reply
Dear God Make the rain go away Amen That was his prayer
